Everything You Need to Shoot Safely
The shotgun safety course has been specifically designed for novice shotgun and clay pigeon shooters who are applying for their shotgun certificate, or who want to improve their knowledge of safe shotgun handling. It is essential training for certificate applicants and of equal value to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of shotgun and clay pigeon shooting.
Theory & Law
We cover UK firearms legislation, safe storage requirements, the shotgun certificate application process, and your legal responsibilities as a shotgun owner. A comprehensive course book is included for you to keep.
Practical Assessment
Under the supervision of our BASC and CPSA qualified instructors, you'll demonstrate safe gun handling, correct mounting technique, and responsible range conduct. All equipment is provided.
Certificate of Recognition
On successful completion you receive a certificate of recognition. This is widely accepted by police firearms licensing departments as evidence of safety training when applying for a shotgun certificate.
